Maenam Hill: It is a 4 hour uphill trek through the Maenam Wildlife Santuary, home of Red Pa-nda,Himalayan Black beat and several species of deer. A half hour distance away is Bhaley Dun-ga-a peculiar looking cliff('Dunga') which resembles a cock('Bhaley').
Tendong Hill(8530): Several years ago a great flood submerged the land and Tendong meaning 'upraised horn' rose up miraculously. Even today prayers are offered to prevent from calamities. |
