1.Pelling: It is a fast growing urban hamlet, offers a breath-taking view of the Kanchenzonga. Main places of interest around Pelling:
Pemayangtse Monastery: The monastery at an altitude of 6500 ft,was first built as a small tem-ple. Later on this was rebuilt in the form of monastery.
Rabdentse Ruins: Rabdentse was the second capital of Sikkim.It is near the Pemayantse Monastry.The Rabdentse Palace is in ruins.The ruins are now being preserved by the Archaelogical Survey of India.
Tashiding Monastery: This lies on the top of a hill that looms up between the Rangit river and is surrounded by a profusion of prayer flags.
Kechopalri Lake: The altitude of the lake is about 6000 ft. This place is 25Kms from Pelling.Kechopalri means the' wishing lake'. The water in this lake is crystal clear and it is said if a leaf drops on the surface of the water, it is picked by the bird.

Yuksom:The first capital of Sikkim.It is believed that the history of the state began from this place, these areas are now considered sacred by the people of Sikkim.Not only so, this place is famous for the starting point of trek route to Dzongri and Gochala.
Singshore Bridge:The highest bridge in Sikkim about 25 Kms from Pemayangtse near Uttarey..
Uttarey:An ideal home for the 'quiet' holiday seekers, nature lovers and bird watchers with rewarding walks, trekking trails and panoramic view.It is also the gateway to Sikkim Singalila Rang.
Rinchenpong:Is a village with beautiful landscape and a panoramic view of Khangchenzonga range. Places of Interest:Temple of Mangham,the monastery of Tantric Buddha, Rinchenpong Monastery "Ati Buddha" two century old and short trek routes.
Versay:This lies in the south - western corner of Sikkim.One has to first reach Hilley by road via Sombaria then has to trek for4 Kms to reach Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary, this place provides a magnificient view of the mountains.
